Geocaching
Geocaching
Geocaching is basically a global scavenger hunt. People around the globe hide little containers called ‘geocaches’
and mark the location on the app using GPS. Other people can see the location of these hidden ‘treasures’
but do not know what they look like or where exactly are they hidden. Once you find one, you write down your name
and re-hide it for the next person to find. The app is free to use and you would be surprised how many in your
neighbourhood are using it. Sanitise your hands and happy caching!
HouseParty
HouseParty
Recently video chatting has become the normality for me and as much as I love discussing my
meals in detail, I prefer to change things up once in a while. HouseParty is an app that
combines group chats, video calls and playing games. And even though they only have a handful
of games they are certain to cause few laughs or at least pass some time.
Stargazing
Stargazing
Even if stargazing has never been your thing, now is the time to start!
You don’t have to be a professional to spot some delicious space events
happening in the next few months. Both June and July have lunar eclipses and June is also
lucky enough to host a partial solar eclipse. Mid July is the best time to find Jupiter and
Saturn as they will be at the closest point to Earth while August 12 - 13 is when
Perseid Metero Shower will be visible. All you need is your phone and curiosity.
Catch up on TV
Catch up on TV
Finally that day has come where it’s socially acceptable, nay, even encouraged
to stay at home and watch some TV. Whether it’s Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ or good,
old-fashioned TV, now is the time to binge all movies and TV series everyone is always talking about.
And even if you don’t have said streaming services, explore YouTube, I can’t even count
how many hours have been lost in that rabbit hole.

You can test your driving as well as logical reasoning skills by playing

Learn a Tik Tok Dance
Learn a Tik Tok Dance
As funny as it sounds, there is an abundance of dance tutorials available online to
prepare you for your 15-30s TikTok spotlight. These dances might be short,
but if you’re anything like me, few hours will pass by without even blinking,
you’ll have learned some sweet moves and exercised without even noticing.

Have you ever wondered if a certain job or hobby is for you?
Well now you have time to find out. Pick up a new language, see if you have an
artistic bone in your body, brush up on your singing skills or browse through countless
free online courses. Few of my favourite websites are edx.org, udemy.com,
masterclass.com and skillshare.com.
